Indigo Swan has been on its own journey of Working Back and Looking Forward. Myself, alongside my fellow Directors Aimee Konieczny, Andy Kindleysides and Hayley Leech, successfully carried out a Management Buyout of Indigo Swan in late 2022 and remembering where we came from, but embracing and be excited about how we move forward have been at the centre of many discussions over the last 18 months or so.

In closing, I wanted to touch on a part of the conference that means a great deal to me, the Swans and is at the heart of how we run and lead our business, and that is wellbeing and the wellbeing of your teams. There has never been a more important time to put wellbeing at the very top of the agenda. Its not a buzz word, having a wellbeing policy should not be a nice to have, it should be a necessity. From the cost of living to struggles with neurodiverse conditions, wellbeing covers many areas. Caring for your team, being approachable, unjudgmental, good humans and fantastic leaders and colleagues should be something that everyone aspires to be and have an awareness of across businesses the world over. The fact that it is on the agenda at your conference is wonderful to see and I am so glad that the wellbeing of the teams is at the very centre of discussion within the PMAS.
