Aimee Konieczny – Indigo Swan
Aimee is Commercial Director and Co-Owner at award-winning energy consultancy Indigo Swan. With over 15 years experience in the energy industry, Aimee has a passion for supporting businesses making the best decisions about electricity, gas and sustainability.
Leadership is something Aimee has developed and grown into over a number of years, with her progress recognised by winning the Investors In People 2023 Leader of the Year award.
Malcolm Perryman – The Property Institute
Malcolm has worked the majority of his 30-year career serving the built environment sector, starting out in the construction trade press on national weekly titles such as The Architects’ Journal, Construction News and New Civil Engineer. Malcolm has also worked at board level for an SME urban design studio and on the international vocation competition event ‘WorldSkills’. Malcolm’s experience in residential property comes from eight years at RICS before joining IRPM. Following IRPM’s merger with ARMA, Malcolm is now Chief Commercial Officer at ‘The Property Institute’ with responsibility for the Institute’s offer to members.
Rhona Wark – BTO Solicitors
Rhona is a highly experienced commercial litigator with diverse expertise across a spectrum of legal disputes, including property, contractual claims, shareholder disputes, director’s malfeasance, partnership disputes, and covenants. Rhona also holds a master’s degree in employment law and has a particular interest in that field.
She has extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution, both pursuing and defending in all the Scottish courts and tribunals and at the Supreme Court. Rhona is also a part-time Summary Sheriff. As a member of BTO’s dispute resolution team, she regularly advises their property manager clients across the broad spectrum of legal and regulatory issues they face. Rhona is trained in, and teaches several different meditation techniques. None thus far, however, have helped in her pursuit of the Zen of Golf…
Mike Heffron – Under One Roof
Mike Heffron is the Chief Executive of Under One Roof, Scotland’s only charity dedicated to supporting landlords and owner-occupiers with organising common repairs in tenements. He acts as secretariat for the Scottish Parliament’s Tenement Maintenance Working Group.
