David Reid is the Group Managing Director of James Gibb Residential Factors. He was formerly the Managing Director of Life Property Management Ltd, which was acquired by James Gibb in 2019. Iain Friel
Iain is an Executive Director at Speirs Gumley Property Management. He has 37 years’ experience in the Property Management Industry, 29 years at senior management level. He is a Past President of the Association and when he is not dealing with all things Factoring, he can be found toiling on the golf course.
Derek MacDonald
Derek is Managing Director of Newton Property Management. Derek specialises in guiding customers through potential liability issues. He has a passion for assisting customers to improve the environmental credentials of their properties and regularly speaks on the subject at events and conferences as a sector expert. Callum Bruce
Callum is a Director of Macfie & Co., having joined the firm in 2018 and has assumed a pivotal role in just a few years. Aside from managing his own district of properties, he is primarily concerned in the acquisition of new business, as well as providing mentorship to the team. Callum joined the Council
George McGuire
George McGuire is the Director of Operations at Trinity Factors with offices in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. George was appointed to the PMAS Council in 2013. He has considerable experience of both property factoring and residential lettings having worked in the property sector for over 20 years.
Gordon Buchanan
Gordon is a Director of Hacking & Paterson Management Services, having joined the Board in 2017. His role includes leading the delivery of factoring services to customers throughout Scotland, developing training and mentoring programs and supporting additional service projects to add value to homeowners experience of working with their property factor.
Paul McDermott
Paul is managing director of Park Property Management and was appointed to the PMAS Council this year (2023). He has worked in property for over thirty years, originally in development and investment. Paul started his factoring business over fifteen years ago and has considerable experience in all areas of property management.
