The Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) ACE Awards were held on 7 July and, with PMAS CEO Alison McDiarmid being one of the judges, she was delighted to be one of 450 attendees at the award dinner in Tobacco Dock, London. A delighted group of winners, for ‘best of’ awards such as Property Manager of the Year (categories based on size of firm), Corporate Social Responsibility Firm of the Year and Apprentice of the Year, were there to receive the recognition for their achievements in excellence in property management. The evening also raised over £2,500 for the charity, Centrepoint.
Most ARMA members are based and operate in England (though with some properties managed North of the border) and the two associations maintain close links, sharing best practice information and useful insight.
The photograph shows the assembled judges, who had both individually and then collectively, assessed and determined the winning entries from the submissions put in. Standards were high and it was heartening for PMAS to be involved in a process that clearly demonstrated the quality of property management in the UK.
It was noted that similar opportunities do not yet exist for Scottish Property Managers, so PMAS has its’ thinking cap on!
