2018 was the centenary year of PMAS and we celebrated by donating to our charity of the year, Ronald McDonald House. This wonderful charity provides a safe space close to the hospital for the families of seriously ill children.
Ronald McDonald House provides a homely environment for families from all over Scotland who’s children are undergoing treatment at The Royal Hospital for Children, Scotland’s largest children’s hospital and a centre of excellence for oncology, cardiology, cardiac surgery, renal medicine and bone marrow transplantation. Therefore, children with extremely complex and critical conditions from far and wide are treated there.
PMAS donated £2,000 to Ronald McDonald House and in return received a plaque to recognise their donation, with former president Alan Maxwell, current president David Reid and CEO Alison McDiarmid paying a visit to fix it to the wall.
